What Information You Should Bring to Your First Divorce Consultation
When you come in to our office for your divorce consultation, please remember that the attorney will need to find out as much information related to your specific situation as possible. For example, the approximate date of your separation, date of your marriage, etc. and if you have already received court papers or you have already filed any yourself, the attorney must have copies of them.
Our Attorney takes the time to listen to you so that the best way to proceed with your divorce can be determined. Once you have been advised accordingly and you have decided to retain our firm, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out so that the attorney can have information regarding you and your spouse as to your past relationship, your children, ownership of properties, etc.
Please allow at least 1 hour for your consultation.
